ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team wrapped up the 2016 season at the Dig Pink Invitational on Saturday, losing to Elmira College in five sets, then sweeping SUNY Delhi, 3-0.

Sofia Koukia was named to the All-Tournament Team.
The day started with a tough loss to Elmira, 24-26, 25-16, 21-25, 25-18 and 15-11. The Raptors were up a set twice, and up 8-3 in the fifth and deciding set, but the Soaring Eagles prevailed, and they finish the season at 6-15.
Koukia had 16 kills (.379), three aces and three digs;
Jewel Smith had 35 assists and nine digs, and
Daniella Azulai led Bard with 19 digs. Freshman
Maracela Talamantes added nine kills (.304) and two blocks.
Bard swept SUNY Delhi 25-17, 25-18 and 25-18. Koukia had 13 kills without an error (.565) and eight digs, and Smith had 19 assists.
The Raptors finish the 2016 season at 8-27.
