ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team kicked off its final weekend of play Friday night, falling to SUNY Canton by the score of 3-0. The match was played at SUNY Oneonta as a part of the Dig Pink Invitational.
Set scores for the match were 25-15, 25-17 and 25-12.
Bard (7-26) struggled offensively in the match, hitting just .025 to Suny Canton's .231. The Kangaroos (14-18) also won the error battle, committing just seven total in the match to the Raptors' 15.Â
Sofia Koukia had six kills,
Alexis Akingbade tallied 5 blocks and
Daniella Azulai added 17 digs for Bard on the night.Â
Canton was lead by Kelsey Cornish (Honeoye, NY), who had eight kills and Peyton Robinson (Bloomfield, NY), who contributed 26 assists for the Kangaroos.Â
The Raptors will wrap up their season on Saturday as the Dig Pink Invitational concludes. Bard will take on Elmira College (5-14) at 10 a.m. and SUNY Delhi (9-20) at noon at Oneonta. You can follow those games right here via Live Video.
