ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team swept a pair of matches on Saturday, defeating Albertus Magnus and Medgar Evers to improve to 7-8.
Against Albertus Magnus (2-7), Bard prevailed 25-21, 25-18 and 25-21.
Sofia Koukia had 10 kills to pace the Raptors' offense.
Victoria Chou had 24 assists, her eighth contest with 20 or more helpers this year, along with four aces and nine digs.
Tytravia Riley had six kills, while
Philippine Alba and
Daniella Azulai had 11 digs each.
Megan Gritz (Milford, CT) had five kills and eight digs for the Falcons, while Romona Onofrio (East Haven, CT) had nine assists and two aces.
After Albertus Magnus defeated Medgar Evers, 3-1, Bard swept Medgar Evers 28-8, 25-15 and 25-13.
The Raptors had 23 aces and 29 kills. Alba finished with a team-high eight aces along with six kills. Chou had 19 assists and five aces.
Alexis Akingbade and
Zoe Morgan-Weinman had the next most kills with three each.
Julia Berry had five digs.
