In the 34th minute, Aoife Henchy stopped an Elmira clear attempt on the wing, fed Caroline Gluck in the corner, and Gluck sent a beautiful cross over to the center of the box where Labrecque was waiting. She headed the ball to the far post and Bard led, 1-0.

The Raptors outshot Elmira, 19-9, but the Bard back line held the Soaring Eagles without a single quality scoring opportunity. Elmira fell to 0-4.

Shane Crowley picked up her first win and first shutout of the season in net, turning away four Elmira shots. Bard is 3-1-1.

The Raptors are next in action when they travel to play New York University on Saturday night at 5 p.m. It will be the first match of a three-game road trip for Bard.
