The Bard College men's volleyball team defeated City College of New York, 3-1, to wrap up play in the 2015 Bard Raptors Tournament on Saturday afternoon.Rutgers-Newark and Vassar each went 3-0, and Rutgers-Newark was declared champion on a points tiebreaker. Bard went 2-1, Mount St. Vincent went 1-2, and CCNY and Staten Island each went 0-3.Against CCNY on Saturday, Bard prevailed 25-19, 20-25, 25-16 and 25-21 to win its second in a row. Alex Adas led the Raptors with 12 kills and 11 digs and hit .304. Jesse Small and Shane McDonald each added 10 kills. Joseph Stier had 31 assists, and Tyler Zowaski finished with 16 digs. Bard is 5-12; CCNY lost later to Vassar and fell to 2-11.Â
