CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bard College men's squash team split a pair of matches on Sunday, losing to host Hamilton, 9-0, before defeating Colgate, 8-1.

Bard is 7-2; the program record for wins in a season is eight.

Hamilton (2-6) swept matches 1-5. Pranjal Ghate took a game at No. 6, and Vikramiditya Joshi took a game at No. 7, but Hamilton prevailed, 9-0.

The match against Colgate (3-4) was much closer than the 8-1 team score would indicate. Rhys Nordstrom lost in four at No. 1; Ayateru Maeda had to win the final two games to win a five-setter at No. 2; Jack Smith (No. 3), Abe Etkin (No. 4) and Julian Dime (No. 5) each won their matches in four games. Ghate, Joshi, Satwik Srikrishnan and Francesca Cornali each swept at Nos. 6-9, respectively.

The Raptors will enjoy some time off before resuming play next semester.
