ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Bard College women's volleyball team was swept by Elmira on Friday night in the Dig Pink Invitational hosted by SUNY Oneonta.
Set scores for the Soaring Eagles were 25-12, 25-15, and 25-21.
Kierstin Derr (Elmira, NY) led Elmira with six kills along with eight digs, while Paola Ortiz (San Juan, Puerto Rico) had five kills and a team-high three aces. Taylor Kaznowski (Hamburg, NY) led her team with 19 assists and nine digs.
For Bard,
Sofia Koukia had seven kills to lead all players, while
Tytravia Riley had five kills and three digs.
Victoria Chou had 15 assists and five digs.
Philippine Alba had 10 digs on defense.
The Soaring Eagles (17-12) had 27 kills and committed only 16 attack errors, along with 13 aces in the match.
The Raptors (12-20) wrap up the 2015 season on Saturday with matches against Ramapo at 10 a.m. and Plattsburgh State at 12:30 p.m.
