ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's and women's swimming teams host Cazenovia College and Purchase College in a rare mid-week meet on Thursday afternoon.

The Bard men defeated Cazenovia, 53-34, and lost to Purchase, 59-31. The Bard women lost to Cazenovia, 73-21, and to Purchase, 77-17.

Scott Vander Veen was a double-winner for Bard, taking the 100-back and the 1,000-free. Theo Black took second in both in the 100-free and 200-IM, and Josh Hodge placed second in the 200-free.

On the women's side, Emily Hoelzli won the 100-back for the Raptors.

Bard will next host William Paterson University on Jan. 25.
