Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team lost a non-league match to Ramapo College, 3-0, on Wednesday night.
Set scores for the winners were 25-16, 25-17 and 25-17.
All three sets were close early but not late. The Raptors didn't lead after 7-7 in the first set, after 8-8 in the second set, or after 11-11 in the third set. Ramapo (16-5) didn't hit the ball especially well (.224) but got 10 kills apiece from Nick Hrehovcik (Little Falls, N.J.) and Andrew Balint (East Brunswick, N.J.). Harsh Prajapati (Old Bridge, N.J.) had 31 assists and shared the team lead in digs with Hrehovcik - both had eight.
Bard (5-13) got eight kills from freshman
Kai Bernier-Chen but hit only .022 for the match.
Henry Kasiske led the Raptors in two categories with 14 assists and seven digs.
Up next for Bard is a United Volleyball Conference Crossover at New Paltz over the weekend. The Raptors will play 8th-ranked Medaille and D'Youville on Saturday, and 15th-ranked Elmira on Sunday.
