Raptors swept by No. 12 Vassar

Henry Kasiske had 18 assists in Wednesday night's loss to 12th-ranked Vassar.
Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team was swept by No. 12 Vassar College in a United Volleyball Conference match on Wednesday night. 

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Bard, 5-12 overall, 0-7 in the UVC.

Bard's only leads of the night were 1-0 in the second set and 2-0 in the third set; otherwise 12th-ranked Vassar dominated, hitting .418 for the match, while Bard produced more errors (20) than kills (19).

Vassar (10-5, 4-3 UVC) was led by freshman Erik Halberg (Newark, DE), who had nine kills and hit .600. Freshman Kadeem Nibbs (Bronx, NY) added six kills and a .750 hitting percentage. Halberg and Nibbs finished the evening without a single hitting error between them. Sophomore Colin White-Dzuro (Toronto, ON) had 32 assists and five digs.

Bard got eight kills and seven digs from freshman Kai Bernier-Chen, six kills from Billy Williams, and 18 assists from Henry Kasiske. The Raptors are off for a while before hosting Ramapo College on Mar. 6 at 7 p.m.
