Men's volleyball splits on last day of SUNYIT Tournament

Junior Henry Kasiske had 58 assists over two matches on Saturday.
Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 UTICA, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team picked up its first win of the season when it split of a pair of matches on the final day of the SUNYIT Tournament on Saturday.

Bard lost to Mount Ida College, 3-1. Set scores for the winners were 27-25, 18-25, 25-16 and 25-12.

In that match, freshman Kai Bernier-Chen had 15 kills and classmate Zack Nussdorf added eight. Henry Kasiske had 31 assists, Billy Wiliams had 13 digs, and Daniel Gagne added 11 digs. Mount Ida is 2-2.

Bard picked up its first win of the season later in the day, when the Raptors swept Wells College, 3-0. Set scores for Bard were 26-24, 25-12 and 25-22.

In that match, Nussdorf led the Raptors with nine kills, Kasiske had 27 assist, and Gagne had 12 digs. Wells is 0-4.
