Bard blanked by RIT

Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's lacrosse team was shut out by Rochester Institute of Technology, 21-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday.

It was the first-ever meeting between the schools.

Ten different players scored for the winners, including five who scored three goals apiece. Leading the way was senior Rebecca Lampson (Penn Yan, NY), who finished with three goals and six assists. The Tigers, 4-4 overall and 3-1 in the Liberty League, outshot Bard 32-7 and went 13-for-13 on clear attempts.

Bard freshmen Joanna Regan and Hallie Nolan collected a team-high four ground balls apiece, and Regan had four caused turnovers.

Next up for Bard is a non-league game at SUNY New Paltz on Thursday at 4 p.m.
