ROCHESTER, N.Y. - A 13-0 run over a four-minute span midway through the first half proved to be the knockout blow as the Bard College men's basketball team lost to Rochester Institute of Technology, 82-51, on Friday night.

Bard trailed, 15-11, after a three-pointer by sophomore
Alvaro Llanes, but it was 28-11 four minutes later, and Bard never threatened the lead again. They were down, 44-22, at halftime.
RIT (6-9 overall, 2-4 Liberty League) made 48 percent of its shots from the field in the game, including 9-of-18 from beyond the three-point arc. Four players finished in double figures for the Tigers, led by senior Brendan Harder (Oneonta, NY), who had 16 points and five rebounds. RIT outrebounded Bard, 42-25.

Bard (3-10, 1-4) got 11 points from Llanes - who did it only 12 minutes of playing time - seven points from
Chris McNaughton, and four points, five rebounds and four assists from
