ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Bard College Men's Basketball team has been recognized with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award for the fourth consecutive year, and Sebastian Matz was the lone Raptor to receive Honors Court recognition. 

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Raptors finished above that threshold with a cumulative mark of 3.31.

Junior Sebastian Matz is majoring in economics and psychology. Matz appeared in 20 games this season, tallying 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 steals.
