2018-19: Rue had a stellar sophomore year, leading Bard to its first Liberty League playoff spot since joining the conference in 2011 ... he started all 26 games, averaging 34.8 minutes per game ... averaged 17.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game ... All-Liberty League Second Team ... in conference play, he was 11th in scoring (15.2 ppg), 1st in assists (5.2 apg), 4th in assist/turnover ratio (1.9), 4th in steals (2.1 spg) and 1st in minutes (35.1 mpg) ... scored in double figures 23 times, including 32 points at Hartwick, 31 at home against Hamilton, 25 at Clarkson, and 31 at home against Ithaca ... he scored 23 in Bard's playoff loss at Hobart ... was the Liberty League Performer of the Week once, and made the weekly Honor Roll four times.
2017-18: Alijah appeared and started in 23 games as a freshman ... He averaged 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and team-leading 3.4 assists over 30.9 minutes per game ... Rue tallied a .348 three point shooting percentage and led the team with 46 steals for the season ... He scored a career-high 35 points against Hamilton on Dec. 9 and tallied 24 points against RPI on Feb. 9 and Hobart on Feb. 10 ... He dished out a season-high nine assists in a win over Vaughn on Nov. 29 ... Rue was named Liberty League Rookie of the Week twice and ECAC Rookie of the Week once ... He was also named to the Liberty League All-Rookie Team.
