Biography

2025: Appeared on the mound in eight games, also making four at-bats…pitched 7.1 innings with six strikeouts…opposing batters hit 9-for-31 for a .290 average…had a final ERA of 9.82 and a WHIP of 1.91.

Columbia High School: Played UTI/RHP for the Cougars under coach Ryan Muirhead...also played for Hustle Baseball...earned the AP Scholar Award...named 2nd team All-SEC (Super Essex Conference) in 2024...hit .306, slugged .403, and had 16 RBIs his senior year.

About Shin: Currently majoring in Philosophy...involved in various extracurriculars including the Powerlifting Club (President), Asian-American Student Alliance, Debate Club, Model United Nations Club, and Politics Club...plans to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy...is the son of Katherine Cherbas and Lloyd Shin.
