2023: Risse stayed as Bard’s No. 1 starter; going 5-3 with a 3.33 ERA…including six complete games…in Liberty League play, he finished with a 4-2 record and was recognized among the best pitchers in the league with an impressive 3.33 ERA. In 51 and 1/3 innings this season, he struck out 50 batters and held opposing batters to a .242 average, which was the sixth-best in the conference…started and appeared in 22 games, batting .222 including a double, seven RBIs and 10 hits…drew seven walks and had two stolen bases…hit his first collegiate home run against Old Westbury…slugged .311 and maintained a .327 on-base percentage…compiled a .956 fielding percentage...Liberty League All-Academic 
 
2022: Risse had a breakout year as a sophomore, becoming Bard's No. 1 starter and going 5-4 with a 4.53 ERA ... he led the team in strikeouts (49) and innings (55.2), and made the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll three consecutive times in the thick of the conference playoff race ... he struck out seven over six innings and gave up two runs in a win over RIT in March ... he gave up two runs over seven innings in a win over Vassar in late April.

2021: Appeared in seven games for the Raptors during his first season, making six starts ... struck out 27 batters in 31 innings pitched ... was second on the team with a WHIP of 1.65 and had an ERA of 6.68.
