Biography

2016: Alec started in 38 of the 40 possible games as a senior, primarily as the DH ... He had a .276 batting average and had 35 hits, including five doubles ... Alec drove in 22 runs and had two home runs ... He was also a co-captain.

2015: Alec played in 35 games as a junior and had a terrific year. He hit .407 with 48 hits and a team-high 36 RBI. His slugging percentage (.576) was among the best in the league. On the mound he made eight starts and went 2-4 with a 4.33 ERA, including the victory in Bard's first-ever Liberty League win. He was voted All-Liberty League First Team as a designated hitter, and was named the Male Student-Athlete of the Year at the Athletics Banquet.

2014: For the second straight season, Alec played every game, including 28 starts at catcher. He led the Liberty League in throwing out baserunners, batted .313 with nine RBI, and he hit Bard's only homer of the season during the Spring Trip to Florida. One of the highlights of the season was his 7-for-7 performance in a doubleheader at RPI on Apr. 27. At the end of the season, the league's coaches chose him as an All-Liberty League Honorable Mention catcher.

2013: Alec started all 26 games for the Raptors as a freshman, many at catcher, many at pitcher, and others in the infield ... led the team with seven doubles and four sacrifice bunts ... made seven starts on the mound and finished second on the team in innings pitched.
