ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College men's soccer team continued its strong start to the season with a commanding 3-0 victory over CCNY on Monday evening at Ferrari Field.

The Raptors controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Beavers 18-2, including a 9-0 advantage in shots on goal. Bard also held a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.

Bard opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Henry Skeltis found the back of the net off a rebound shot by Frankie Perera-Modica, which was saved by the Beavers goalkeeper. This is Skeltis' second goal of the season and has contributed to every goal that the Raptors scored in the past three games. Perera-Modica continued to create opportunities for the Raptors' attack with his long passes from outside the box and had two shots on goal. Bard carried the 1-0 advantage into halftime.

The Raptors wasted little time adding to their lead after the break. Just 47 seconds into the second half, Brandon Alchy converted a penalty kick to double Bard's advantage. Aren Andrews was able to cause the CCNY defender to commit a foul in the top of the box to allow the Raptors to be awarded a penalty.
Less than four minutes later, Devon Green made it 3-0. Luca Costanzo provided the assist from a long corner that drew out the defenders and the goalkeepers. Green finished the opportunity as he was ready in the middle of the box with no defenders around him.

Bard continued to apply pressure throughout the remainder of the match, recording 13 of its 18 shots in the second half. Mikhail O'Garro had two shots on goal, while Jamie Coequyt and Marios Savva each had a shot on goal.

Defensively, the Raptors put together another composed performance. Julian Landau played all 90 minutes in goal and earned the shutout as Bard limited CCNY to just two total shots.

Bard will be back on Wednesday at Ferrari Field and will face Old Westbury at 6 p.m.
