ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Bard College first year Daniel Hsu was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon by the league office.

Daniel Hsu picked up the clinching win in both matches this past week. Against Marywood, he started hot with a 6-0, 6-3 win, and versus Pratt, he had to comeback from 5-2 down in the second set in order to seal a 6-3, 7-5 win. His successful start to his career also included a 6-2 win in doubles with Jackson Brent against Marywood.

It is the second time in program history that a Bard men's tennis player has been named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week. The first was last season.
