Gallery: (9-12-2026) Tennis vs Pratt
ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Bard College women's tennis team dropped its home and season opener to the Pratt Cannoneers on Saturday afternoon.
At No. 1 doubles,
Jesse Radzik and
Ava Rizzo picked up a pair of games.
Lisa Kyrtoka and
Lola Greene were unable to break through at No. 2 doubles. At No. 3 doubles,
Laura Kurbanova and
Irene Won combined for two games.
Radzik battled from the back of the court at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, Kyrtoka moved her opponent around but did not scratch across a game. Greene, like Radzik and Kyrtoka moved up in the lineup to her new high at No. 3 singles.
Rizzo was part of the most competitive set of the day, her second set that went 3-6, at No. 4 singles. At No. 5 singles, Won had to retire after five games. Kurbanova also won four games at No. 6 singles, matching Rizzo's tally.
Next up is a road match at Purchase on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
