PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Bard College men's tennis team dropped a non-conference match to the Purchase Panthers on Wednesday afternoon, 2-5.

Nick Oh and Thanasis Kostikas won at No. 1 doubles, 6-3. Blake Kendall and Peter Trimble fought but fell 3-6 at No. 2 doubles. Purchase won No. 3 doubles by forfeit.

Oh battled at No. 1 singles, ending 0-6, 1-6. Kostikas was last on court at No. 2 singles, finishing with a 0-6, 6-7 (5-7) scoreline. At No. 3 singles. Kendall had a tough match, 3-6, 1-6.

Trimble was dominant, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles. Chamberlain grabbed a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 5 singles. Purchase won No. 6 singles by forfeit.

The Raptors continue their road trip Saturday with a 12 p.m. match at Ithaca.
