RECAP: Men’s Tennis’s Win Streak Snapped by Hobart

GENEVA, N.Y. — The Bard College men's tennis team fell to the Hobart Statesmen on Saturday morning, 0-7. The Raptors had won four in a row prior to Saturday.

Nick Oh and Blake Kendall fought at No. 1 doubles, ending 0-6. Thanasis Kostikas and Peter Trimble competed at No. 2 doubles, with a score of 0-6. Faisal Jones and Ciaran Chamberlain were ousted 0-6 at No. 3 doubles.

Oh performed well but fell at No. 1 singles 3-6, 1-6. Kostikas won a game in each set, 1-6, 1-6 at No. 2 singles. At No. 3 singles. Jones battled hard even though he did not scratch across a game.

Kendall was able to collect a few winners from his forehand but finished 0-6, 0-6 at No. 4 singles. Trimble was within reach in the second set, 0-6, 2-6 at No. 5 singles. Chamberlain got a game in the first set, 1-6, 0-6 at the No. 6 singles position.

The Raptors play St. Lawrence on Friday at 1 p.m.
