RECAP: Men’s Tennis Extends Win Streak to Four with Victory over Delhi

Box Score DELHI, N.Y. — The Bard college men's tennis team defeated the Delhi Broncos on Friday afternoon, 5-2. Bard remains undefeated across five matches all-time against Delhi.

At No. 1 doubles, Nick Oh and Ciaran Chamberlain won 6-3. The No. 2 doubles team of Peter Trimble and Blake Kendall got a crucial 6-2 win to give Bard the doubles point. 

Oh cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over his Delhi opponent at No. 1 singles. Kendall found a way to pull through in three sets, winning at No. 2 singles for the first time.

Trimble made his debut at No. 3 singles, where he wore down his opponent 6-2, 6-1. At No. 4 singles, Thanasis Kostikas made a comeback from 0-4 against the Delhi No. 4 before winning 7-6, 6-3, clinching the match.

Chamberlain had a hard-fought match where the second set was decided by a single break, 1-6, 5-7, at No. 5 singles. Julian De La Rosa played his first collegiate match at No. 6 singles.

The Raptors will resume action March 28 at Hobart at 12 p.m.
