RECAP: Men’s Basketball dropped road contest to St. Lawrence

The Bard College men's basketball fell to St. Lawrence on Saturday afternoon, 82-30.

Sam Gibbs and Jalen Umstead led the team with five points each, with Gibbs adding five rebounds and three assists. Lucas Tovar and Azikiwe Cuffy-Scott each had four points. Cuffy-Scott, Angelos Bratakos, Seth Dyer, Michael Sweeney and Bryce Sampah each had three rebounds.

St. Lawrence took control early in the first half and never let Bard catch up. SLU was hot from the three-point range, shooting 48.6% and scoring 29 points off turnovers. Bard were evenly matched up on the glass with SLU having three more than Bard, 34-31.

Bard will be back home next weekend when they face Vassar and Skidmore, with a Vassar match-up on Friday at 7:30 p.m. for the team's Alumni Night.
