Three Men’s Volleyball Student-Athletes named to the 2025 CSC Division III Academic All-District Team

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.— Three members of the Bard College men's volleyball team were honored as the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Academic All-District At-Large Team, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. 

The three students honored were juniors Georgi Chikolov and Quinn Lewis, and graduate student Quincy Ross.

Junior Georgi Chikolov is studying computer science and is in the conservatory. Chikolov played in 25 matches, starting 20. He recorded 258 assists, second on the team. Chikolov currently ranks third in program history in career assists, with 1503. In addition, he recorded 87 digs, including a season-high nine digs against Russell Sage. To round it out, Chikolov tallied 20 kills and 22 aces, recording a career-high five aces versus Russell Sage. He is also an NEVC Academic All-Conference Honoree last year. 

Junior Quinn Lewis is studying studio art. Lewis played in 28 matches in his junior season, ranking fourth on the team in digs, with 146 (1.51/set), including a ten-dig performance against John Jay to match his career-high. In total, he dished out 12 assists, with three against Mount Aloysius. He is also an NEVC Academic All-Conference Honoree last year.

Lastly, graduate student Quincy Ross is in the MAT program. Ross started in 15 matches, playing in 61 sets. He led the team in blocks per set, at 0.75. Ross added 46 kills, 16 digs, and six aces. Ross recorded three or more blocks in eight matches. He is also an NEVC Academic All-Conference Honoree last year. 

To be nominated for the At-Large Academic All-District Team, the athlete must have a GPA of 3.50 or above and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. The student-athlete has to have competed in 90% of the Team's total games played or have started 66% of the Team's total games. The Academic All-District Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators.
