ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College women's basketball team fell to the Skidmore Thoroughbreds on Saturday afternoon at Stevenson Athletic Center.

Melina Koulouri got a career-high two steals, as well as two points, a rebound, and an assist. Alleisha Romain tied her career-high of two assists, contributing two points, and two rebounds.

Erin Tobes had a game-high ten points and added three assists and three rebounds. Shirley Dong had seven points, a steal, and two assists in 21 minutes. Lexi Miller scored six points, grabbed a team-high six rebounds, and had two steals.

Skidmore scored the first seven points, followed by Miller getting the Raptors' first points of the game. Bard would go back to the well, feeding Miller on the low block, where she scored six points in the opening five minutes. The Raptors scored 14 in the first quarter, the most they've scored in the first quarter against a Liberty League opponent this season. Skidmore slowed down the pace and loaded up the paint against the Raptors' drives in the second quarter and led heading to halftime.

In the third quarter, the Raptors continued to react quicker on defense, allowing just 13 points. Bard had lockdown defense towards the end of the game, allowing just three points on 1-of-19 from the field. The Raptors scored 15 points on 43.8% shooting, giving them some confidence heading into their next game. Six different Bard players scored in the quarter, bringing a balanced attack. The Raptors outscored Skidmore in the fourth quarter 15-3.

The Raptors ended Skidmore sophomore Claudia Schneider's streak of six consecutive games with 10 or more points, holding her to just eight.

The Raptors have their final weekend on the road as they face RPI and William Smith on Friday and Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
