Parchment breaks her 60m record again

Seven Raptors ran personal bests in their individual categories for the Bard College track and field team, including Gabrielle Parchment, who broke her 60-meter school record again at the NYU Invitational in the Armory on Saturday.

Parchment took off a tenth of a second from her 60-meter dash record finishing 8.41 in her second indoor meet. She also ran the 200 meters and finished with a time of 29.24. Carina Cooke improved her 60-meter time from 8.61 to 8.56 today. Jynaiya Grizzle and Lismery Guzman-Cruz both ran a personal best in the 60-meter and the 200-meter.

Avery Crafton ran a personal best in the 200 meters, while Kai Washington competed in his first indoor meet, running the 60 meters and 200 meters. Ilyas Hotak shaved nearly 20 seconds off his 800-meter time, while Bo Hopwood shaved six seconds off his mile time with 5:06.26.

Bard will travel to West Point next Saturday as the Raptors conclude their indoor season.
