ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College women's basketball team competed with Clarkson in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon at Stevenson Athletic Center.
This being the second match-up in the last two months, the Raptors were hunting for a comeback.
Aislynn Dixon led the team with a total of eight points and five rebounds.
Lexi Miller had her seventh double-digit rebound performance with 12 and added three points.
Shirley Dong contributed with six points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Maggy Peyton contributed with six points, two rebounds and two assists.
Tianna Gonzalez contributed with six points and 4 rebounds.
Erin Tobes scored four points.
In a defensive first quarter, Bard held Clarkson to finish off the first quarter with a small lead of 14 to 3. Bard made 54.5% of its free throws. The Golden Knights went straight into it in the second quarter with 11 straight points and kept the lead.
In the third quarter, Bard outscored Clarkson, 16-13, shooting 7-of-11 from the field in comparison to Clarkson's 4-of-14.
The Raptors will challenge Vassar on Friday, February 7th, at 5:30 p.m. in Stevenson Athletic Center.
