ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College men's soccer team picked up 1-0 victory over CCNY on a humid and rainy Saturday afternoon at Ferrari Field.

A 67th-minute shot into the bottom left corner of the goal by sophomore Frankie Perera-Modica was the match-winner for Bard (4-0) as the Raptors earned the win.

The Raptors possession for 90% of the game, with a 20-4 advantage in shots and a 13-0 shots on goal advantage against the Beavers. Bard opened the first half with pressure, earning a corner kick after four minutes of play. The Raptors had six shots on goal before the half, including a breakthrough shot by Julian Koulish and another by Logan Tondini in the top left corner.

In the second half, Bard kept the pressure on the CCNY defense, with Logan Tondini taking a shot on goal just one minute after starting the second half. In the 67th minute, Mateo Betelu beat out the CCNY defender for the ball and slid it back to the middle of the box for Perera-Modica to finish it off in the bottom left corner.

The Beavers tried to make a push on the offensive end, but the Raptor's defensive line of Zac Sparacio, Dylan Kotlowitz, and James Bird were able to hold off any through balls by CCNY.

Bard will head to Sarah Lawrence on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off.
