ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College baseball team has been recognized with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the first time in program history for achievement in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.

This year, the Raptors posted a 3.09 team grade-point average in the fall and 3.2 in the spring.

The ABCA recognized nearly 350 high school programs and more than 470 collegiate programs from across the country with their Team Academic Excellence Award.

Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were honored with this year's award, which highlights programs coached by ABCA members that average a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for the entire 2023-24 academic year.
