AUBURNDALE, Fl. -- The Bard College baseball team concluded their spring break trip to Florida on Tuesday afternoon, dropping a 17-5 decision to Keuka in their final game at Lake Myrtle Park.
Bard had five players with at least one hit, including first years
Cal Anna, who went 3-for-4, and
Kam Naficy, who went 2-for-4. Anna notched three RBI while Naficy added two.
Jimmy Famularo,
Mike Hannan and
Xavier Webb each had one hit. Webb and Famularo each had two runs.
Michael Kurlan reached base twice by drawing two walks.
Charlie Lehr had his first collegiate start on the mound and threw three innings with six strikeouts.
Evan Landsman came out of the bullpen and threw two innings with five strikeouts.
Sachin Wijay and
Jamie Fryer each threw an inning and had two strikeouts each.
Bard will start conference play this weekend with a single game on Friday at Skidmore at 3 p.m., followed by a doubleheader at Honey Field on Saturday starting at noon.
