The Bard men's and women's indoor track and field competed in the Liberty League Indoor Championships opening day at St. Lawrence.
Several members of the team set personal records and even competed in new events.
Odille Zexter-Kaiser and
Sadie Torre both shaved off close to 0.06 seconds in the Mile, while
Jynaiya Grizzle tied her personal best in the 60m preliminary and
J'adora Lively ran a personal best. Lively and Grizzle also competed in the long jump and both PR.
On the men's side,
Oliver Pawelek and
Able Bloodgood ran a new PR.
Joshua Schwartz and
Ilyas Hotak competed in their first ever 400-meter event.
The team continues its participation on Saturday in the second day of the competition with events including 800m, 200m, 3K, 4x400m relay and high jump.
