The Bard College women's volleyball team was swept by Vassar in a Liberty League matchup on Wednesday night at Kenyon Hall. 
Bard was limited to only 16 kills, with first-year 
Annika Flittie leading the team with five kills. Junior setter 
Becca Wintjen had 15 assists and three block assists. Junior libero 
Ella Small continued her double-digit streak of digs with her fourth consecutive match with double-digit digs, accumulating 11. First-year 
Carmen Merrick had a team-high of four blocks, while fellow first-year 
Coral Cook had a team-high of two aces. 
In the first two sets, Vassar took control of the game, taking an early lead and not letting Bard come back. In the third set, Bard battled hard and stayed within the Brewers range, tying the set four times. Vassar went on a 9-2 run at 11-10 and never looked back. 
The Raptors will conclude their conference play on Saturday when they travel to #21 Ithaca on Saturday at 2 p.m.
