ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Bard men's soccer team (5-9-1, 0-7-1 Liberty League) celebrates their eight seniors on Saturday afternooon at Ferrari Field against Hobart (5-5-4, 4-2-2 Liberty League).

Eight seniors were recognized prior to the game: Robbie Boyd, Zach Burmeister, Reed Campbell, Cole Ewalt, Gavin Hersey, Dylan Kotlowitz, Jack Timoney, and Logan Tondini.

The reigning rookie of the week in the Liberty League, Brady Leitner, scored first for Hobart. Bard responded with a corner after Sam Gerber put pressure on the left side of the Statesmen's defense. Hobart set up camp in the box, allowing them to clear out the corner kick. At the 17th minute, Will Beane-Rosenberg leapt to make a save, showcasing his athleticism in goal. Keegan Mulroony picked up Hobart's second goal with less than 20 minutes to play in the half.

With four minutes remaining in the first half, Pape Davidson penetrated through the box and forced a corner, recording his third shot on goal of the season. Henry Skeltis shot as time expired but was denied by Thomas Chyzowych. The Raptors generated four corners while the Statesmen created one in the half. The early stages of the second half featured intense defense by both sides. 30 minutes went by with few opportunities.

Frankie Pereira-Modica found space ten minutes into the half, but was met by Chyzowych's length. He led Bard in shots on goal, getting two of the six. Leitner scored his second goal of the game with 14:20 remaining.

Campbell scored on his senior day game with a goal from just outside the box with 1:20 remaining in the game. It was his first of the season and fifth of his career, ending the day on a positive note for the Raptors. Beane-Rosenberg played the entire match and collected five saves.

Bard takes on Purchase in its final non-conference match of the season on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
