WAYNE, NJ – The Bard women's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory at William Patterson on Friday afternoon, starting strong in doubles and continuing the excellent performance at every spot in singles play.
In doubles, both the #1 pairing of
Bella Ries and
Paige Houghton and the #2 team of
Maya Kelly and
Victoria Bagatcholon earned 8-0 wins, while the #3 duo of
Lapis Dove and
Lexi Sanchez won 8-1.
The Raptors continued to roll in singles, with both Houghton at #4 and Sanchez at #6 winning 6-0, 6-0. Kelly also enjoyed a dominant performance at #1, and Dove (#2), Ries (#3) and Bagatcholon (#5) all enjoyed straight set wins.
Bard next faces St. Lawrence in the team's final Liberty League match of the season on Sunday, April 16 in Canton before returning home to close the season on Tuesday, April 25 at home against Saint Elizabeth University.
