POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Bard women's lacrosse team traveled south to Vassar on Wednesday evening, with the Brewers winning 15-4 over the Raptors.
 
Maggy Peyton had a pair of goals and an assist for Bard, Izzi Popolizio added a goal and an assist, and Sarah Child added a goal.
 
The Brewers jumped out to a 6-0 lead before Peyton scored her first goal of the night, and the Raptors adjusted tightened up defensively in the second and third quarters. Bard then outscored Vassar 3-1 in the fourth quarter with goals from Popolizio, Child, and Peyton.
 
Lexie Blackburn played the full game in net for the Raptors, making three saves.
 
Bard returns to action on Saturday when the team hosts Clarkson on Senior Day at Ferrari Field.
