GENEVA, NY – The Bard women's lacrosse team visited Liberty League rival William Smith on Saturday afternoon, with the hosts maintaining its undefeated record in a 24-2 win.
Bard's goals came from
Lily Clough and
Sarah Child, with assists coming from
Paige Gregg and
Izzi Popolizio.
Martha Pasatiempo (five saves) and
Lexie Blackburn (four saves) split time in net for the Raptors. On face-offs, Child ended with six draw controls, Gregg had three and
Maggy Peyton collected a pair, as well as two ground balls.
The match was part of a fundraising and awareness campaign for the One Love Foundation, a non-profit organization that strives toward the goal of ending relationship abuse, with both teams participating in the effort.
The Raptors return to action quickly, with a rescheduled match at the University of Rochester tomorrow at 1pm.
