BRONX, N.Y. – The Bard men's tennis team was in control against Lehman on Wednesday afternoon, defeating the hosts by a 9-0 score.
After sweeping the doubles matches, including an 8-0 win for
Yashar Khan and
Augustin Johnson at #3, the Raptors did the same in singles, with no player dropping more than a single game.
Noah Gulla at #1,
Kai O'Donnell at #3, and
Drew Soleiman at #4 all won 6-0, 6-0, while
Thanasis Kostikas at #2,
Sam Gerber at #5, and
Duncan MacDonald at #6 all earned 6-0, 6-1 wins.
The match served as good preparation for the team, who have a busy weekend ahead, with league matches against Hobart on Friday and Ithaca on Sunday, and a non-conference matchup against Pratt on Saturday.
