Women's indoor track finishes strong at Liberty League Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Bard women's track & field team wrapped up participation in the Liberty League Indoor Championships on Saturday in Rochester with a number of strong performances.

Sophomore Elizabeth Aldous started the day with a PR in the 800m, taking more than half a second off her previous mark. In the 200m, first-year Jynaiya Grizzle set a personal best, and Hawra Moochhala was just shy of a PR as well.

The event finished with the 4x400m where Moochhala, Aldous, Chloe Desaultels, and Grizzle ran strongly to earn team points.

The indoor season has concluded and the team will have a month off before making its outdoor debut on March 25, racing at the Monmouth Spring Opener in West Long Branch, N.J.
