ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Junior
Jack Keelan earned second place in the 800m and broke his own school record, the highlight of a great second day for the Raptors at the Liberty League Indoor Championships.
Keelan took nearly two seconds of his PR, set three weeks ago, finishing in second place at 1:53.48. The time puts him in the top 20 across Division III, and qualified him to run in next weekend's AARTFCC Indoor Championships in New York City.
First-year
Clemente Esponilla also earned a PR, taking 11 seconds off his time in the 3000m. In the final event of the meet, the 4x400m team of
CeDaniel Sumpter, Keelan,
Caleb Ribeiro, and
Nic Soucy took five seconds off the school record to finish on a high note.
