ITHACA, N.Y. - The Bard women's swimming team enjoyed more excellent performances on Day 3 of the Liberty League Championships, hosted by Ithaca College.
The standout performance for the Raptors came from the 800-freestyle relay of
Julia Pelletier,
Sophie Levy,
Juliette Zicot, and Lis Forsyth, who smashed Bard's record by 18 seconds on route to a 10th place finish.Â
The day began with
Olivia Dower setting her third individual record of the week in the 200-butterfly, lowering the Bard mark by almost 10 seconds to finish 22nd with a time of 2:28.05.
In the 100-breaststroke, a pair of Raptors set personal bests, with Zicot and
Roma Taitwood each improving their marks by over 6 seconds to finish at 1:25 and 1:23 respectively.
The Raptors will finish their participation in the Liberty League Championships on Saturday.
