ITHACA, N.Y. - The Bard College men's swimming team posted many personal bests on Day 3 of the Liberty League Championships at Ithaca College.

Freddy Coronel got the day started with a new team record in the 200-butterfly, slicing over 3 seconds off the previous mark and finishing in 2:04.20. 

Next up, Tom Gadron qualified to swim in the finals of the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:00.56, dropping four seconds from his best time this season.

The final two members of the team to swim on Friday were breaststrokers Paul de Tournemire and Tristan Timpone, who both continued the team's excellent day as they each crushed their personal bests by four seconds in the 100-breaststroke, clocking 1:15 and 1:29 respectively.

The Liberty League Championships will wrap up on Saturday.
