The Bard College women's volleyball team concludes their regular season in a tri-match at Western Connecticut. The Raptors fell to Rhode Island College in five sets before falling to the host, Wolves, in straight sets.
Bard (11-20) was led by senior
Ryan Lum, who had 19 kills and 32 digs. Fellow senior
Adi David had 50 assists and five kills, while libero
Annie Couey totaled 22 digs and a team-high seven aces.
Senior
Emily Hall Smith contributed 12 kills while sophomore
Abi Batingan notched 14, including a team-high eight kills against Western Connecticut. Sophomore
Ella Small totaled 28 digs, while
Becca Wintjen added 22 of her own. First-year
LaeAnna Riley had nine kills and a solo block, and senior
Puja Clements totaled 12 digs and an ace.
The Raptors wrap up their season achieving double-digit wins for the first time since 2015, when the Raptors went 13-21.
