ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Bard College women's volleyball team fell to Liberty League opponent William Smith, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon's Dig Pink game at Stevenson Athletic Center. Set scores were 17-25, 14-25, 18-25.

Bard (10-16, 0-8 Liberty League) led early in all three sets, but could not hold off William Smith's (12-8, 5-2) run. Senior Ryan Lum led the team with six kills, 14 digs and two aces. Lum's two aces moved her up to fifth all-time in school history for career service aces with 157, surpassing Godze Sevim's 155 aces. Fellow senior Adi David, also etched herself into the school's records, as she now ranks fourth all-time in career assists with 1,676 assists.

In the first set, the Raptors had a 10-6 lead, but a 12-2 run by the Herons gave William Smith an 18-12 lead. William Smith had 11 errors in the first set but was able to eliminate their attack errors late in the set and finished the set with a 4-0 run.

The second set saw the Raptors take an 8-3 lead but were unable to keep the momentum going as William Smith went on a 19-4 run and ran away with the second set. The third set saw a similar situation with Bard taking a 9-4 lead. William Smith tied the set at 9-9 and the Raptors then went on a 6-1 run to take back the lead, 15-10.
