The Bard College men's soccer team fell to St. Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon at Ferrari Field by a 5-0 score.
The Raptors had early chances through
Henry Skeltis,
Cole Ewalt, and
Mateo Betelu, but the visitors took control by scoring on their first two shots of the game in the 11th and 17th minutes.
Bard outshot the Saints 18-13 on the day, but the visitors were more clinical, and early in the second half added a pair more goals in the 56th and 59th minutes. St. Lawrence closed the scoring in the 85th minute.
Skeltis and Betelu had three shots each for the Raptors, and
Robbie Boyd had a pair of shots. St. Lawrence goalkeeper Ben Woelfinger made seven saves in the match.
The Raptors return to action next Saturday at Hobart in the team's final road match of the season.
