JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Bard College men's volleyball team lost to New Jersey City University, 3-1, in a non-league game on Thursday night.

The Gothic Knights prevailed 25-20, 25-14, 23-25 and 25-17.

Bard got 13 kills, seven digs and two aces from sophomore Ty McGlynn, and senior Angel Obergh added 10 kills, eight digs and two aces. Sophomore Ben Casler was busy, as he started the match at libero, then moved to setter, and he finished with 16 assists, six digs and three aces. Georgi Chikolov added 10 assists, Isaiah Ortiz had three kills, and Will Eggleston chipped in with two blocks.

Bard next hosts a tri-match on Sunday. The Raptors will play Mount Aloysius at 11 a.m., Mount Aloysius will play Wilkes and 1, and Bard willl play Wilkes at 3.
