POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College men's basketball team lost to Vassar College, 72-64, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

Three players scored in double figures for Bard, led by Azriel Almodovar, who had 17 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Tyler Bruns finiished with 15 points, four rebounds and a block, while Elliot Harris hit three three-pointers and scored 13 points. Ayomikun Akin-Bankole contributed six points and seven rebounds.

"Vassar made us work for everything tonight and we couldn't string together enough stops to make a run in the second half," Bard coach Michael Lenahan said. "This loss shouldn't detract from the step forward we took as a team this week. We'll look to build on that momentum going forward."

Bard next hosts Clarkson on Friday night at 7:30.
