Keelan breaks school record in 600 at Ramapo Opener

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Bard College men's indoor track and field team competed at the Ramapo Opener, a meet held at The Armory on Friday.

Complete results

Bard junior Jack Keelan sliced seven seconds off his personal best and broke the school record in the 600, placing fourth in a field full of NCAA Div. I and Div. II athletes.

"After a tough week of training, the men were solid and I'm very pleased with how the team is pushing forward," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "Jack set another school record, and Clemente Esponilla race a lifetime best in the mile. Another unsung performance was Graeme Lauterbach-Mason, running the most unorthodox and exciting mile in 5:11.4."

Next weekend, the Raptors will visit Utica University for the Blue & Orange Invite.
