ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's basketball team lost to Hobart College, 85-64, in a Liberty League game on Friday night.
Down 15 at halftime, Bard opened the second half on a 15-6 run to trim to deficit to 59-53 with 9:58 left in the game. Hobart scored ten straight points to rebuild the cushion and win the game.
Bard got 20 points, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks from
Tyler Bruns, and 11 points from
Greg Farrow.
"We appreciate the fans coming out tonight and creating a great atmosphere," Bard coach
Michael Lenahan said. "Unfortunately, it took us 20 minutes to play up the level we know we are capable of, and we showed a lot of fight in the second half. We will try to carry that momentum into Saturday."
The Raptors host Skidmore on Saturday at 4.
